Emergency Plumber in Ash Vale, Surrey

A burst pipe, leaking fitting or sudden plumbing fault can be stressful, especially when it happens late at night. Water can spread quickly, so getting the problem under control may help reduce damage to your home and belongings.

Mark the Plumber provides emergency plumbing call-outs within approximately a 45-minute drive of Ash Vale, Surrey. When I arrive, I’ll assess the problem and focus first on making the property safe. This may involve isolating the water supply or shutting off the affected part of the system. Wherever possible, I’ll aim to keep unaffected areas of your home working normally.

If the problem can be repaired during the first hour, every effort will be made to complete the repair during that visit. Some faults need more time, parts or further work. If it looks as though the repair will take longer than the first hour, I’ll explain the options and provide a quote before carrying out further work.

Out-of-hours visits are generally focused on making the property safe and limiting further water damage. Repairs outside normal working hours are unlikely unless they can be completed within the first hour. If a longer repair is needed, we can arrange a suitable time during normal working hours to complete it.

Emergency call-out charges

The first-hour call-out charge depends on when you need help:

- **Weekdays, 8am–4pm:** £125 for the first hour.
- **Out of hours:** £225 for the first hour.
- **Parts are not included** in these charges and will be charged separately.

If further work is needed after the first hour, or it’s clear that the repair will take longer, I’ll provide a quote before proceeding.

How an emergency call-out can help

A prompt response can help stop or control water escaping and reduce the risk of it spreading to floors, walls, ceilings or belongings. Isolating only the affected part of the plumbing, where possible, can also help keep other areas of your home in use while the repair is planned.

The immediate priority is to deal with the urgent problem, make the affected area safe and explain what needs to happen next.

How to book an emergency call-out

1. Call or text Mark on 07887 425281. Briefly explain what’s happened and whether water is still leaking.
2. Send your full property address by text. I’ll check that it’s within the emergency call-out area and confirm whether I can attend.
3. Make payment before I set off. I’ll text you the payment details. The applicable first-hour call-out charge must be paid before I leave for your property.

Once I’ve confirmed I’m on my way, the booking is confirmed and the payment is non-refundable.

Any additional work or parts will be discussed with you separately.
